Food plays such an important roll in our overall health, but we often overlook the power it can have on our emotions.  Some foods are said to have aphrodesiac effects, others we eat as comfort foods or to give us energy when we need it. In my quest to do some housekeeping on my soul, I figure it is high time to do so in the foods I consume.  I am striving for optimum balance in my life.  My nutritional intake and health is part of that.
